The Geminiac
The Geminiac

There was a cold earth laying under bright, hot sunrise. There was a withered, dying olive tree in a field of red roses. There were birds singing in desolate wasteland.

And then there was the Geminiac . . .

the monster that controlled it all. The ultimate axises of human emotion in one being, dying to show the world as much as he could of both.

These are his stories, his passion, his undoing, his demise, his catharsis, his gift and his vanity.

Album Update

The concept for The Geminiac came to me while riding the long train commute from Osaka to Akashi a few years ago.  I was thinking of all the songs I have written over the years, and of the collection of songs I had started writing for a solo album, and I started thinking, "Man, these songs are all over the place... some lighter, some dark... some poppy, some electronic, others really heavy.  I LOVE IT!  But what in the world am I going to call it?"

So I was randomly typing some ideas, and the poem above just popped out of nowhere.  The Geminiac character kind of summed up my music (and being a Gemini, myself as well), so it became the title of my album and my alter-ego of sorts.

So from that train ride that already seems so long ago, after some VERY up and down times, I'm so, so happy to announce that the album is finally completed.  Thank you all for your love and support, and most of all your patience!   I guarantee it will be worth the wait!
